Mr. Ashwin Muthiah, Vice Chairman – TPL and Founder Chairman, AM International,
Singapore, said: “The first quarter has delivered a strong performance, with both sales and
profitability showing significant growth, with profitability more than doubling compared to the
corresponding period last year. This performance reflects the benefits of our continued focus on
cost-led operational efficiencies, improved capacity utilization and our ability to respond to
higher customer demand.
Despite the evolving geopolitical situation in the Middle East resulting in increased input cost,
the lower import pressures has supported the quarter’s overall performance. We remain focused
on strengthening our competitiveness while developing carbon-neutral products and solutions
that address the evolving sustainability needs of our customers.”
