Q1 FY2026–27 performance reflects disciplined execution across core therapy areas, important
regulatory milestones and strategic partnerships that are helping expand access to innovative
healthcare solutions in India
10 August 2026: AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited ("the Company"), a science-led biopharmaceutical
company, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026,
reporting 30% growth in total revenue from operations to INR 6,828 Mn in Q1 FY2026–27. The
Company’s performance was driven by continued momentum across its core therapy areas--
Oncology, Biopharmaceuticals (CVRM and R&I) and Rare Disease, reflecting the strength of its
innovation-led strategy, disciplined execution and focus on improving patient outcomes in India.
During the quarter, the Company strengthened its portfolio through key regulatory approvals, expanded
scientific engagement through targeted capability-building initiatives and advanced strategic
partnerships that support earlier diagnosis and broader access. These developments reflect AstraZeneca
Pharma India’s continued focus on addressing unmet medical needs, deepening its presence across
priority therapy areas and creating long-term value through science, innovation and sustainable growth.

News Release
Key milestones:
• Acalabrutinib – Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma
(SLL): Received regulatory approval for acalabrutinib in combination with venetoclax with or
without obinutuzumab for the treatment of patients with previously untreated chronic
lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL).
• Acalabrutinib – Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL): Received regulatory approval for acalabrutinib in
combination with bendamustine and rituximab for the treatment of adult patients with
previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who are not eligible for autologous stem cell
transplant (ASCT).
• Trastuzumab deruxtecan – HER2-positive breast cancer: Received regulatory approval
for trastuzumab deruxtecan in combination with pertuzumab for the first-line treatment of adult
patients with unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive (IHC3+ or ISH+) breast cancer.
Strategic initiatives:
• Government of Telangana MoU – AI-enabled lung cancer screening: Signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with the Government of Telangana to introduce AI-enabled lung cancer
screening across public healthcare facilities in the state. Under the collaboration, AstraZeneca will
facilitate deployment of Qure.ai’s AI-powered chest X-ray solution to support clinicians in
identifying high-risk pulmonary nodules and other lung conditions, enabling earlier triage and
follow-up. The initiative is expected to roll out across 20 public health facilities spanning urban
and rural settings and includes training and upskilling of healthcare professionals to support
effective and sustainable adoption.
• K+ Connect – Hyperkalaemia management in Heart Failure and Chronic Kidney Disease: Launched
K+ Connect, a pan-India multidisciplinary initiative focused on advancing the management of
hyperkalaemia among patients living with heart failure and chronic kidney disease. The initiative
brings together clinicians across specialties to support a more coordinated approach towards risk
identification, monitoring and management of hyperkalaemia.
• India Coronary Conquest (ICC) 2026 – Advancing cardiovascular care: Launched India Coronary
Conquest 2026 in collaboration with STEMI India, a clinician-led national complex PCI challenge
designed to strengthen evidence-based learning and peer exchange among interventional
cardiologists. The initiative aims to support capability building in advanced cardiovascular care
through case-based learning and scientific collaboration.

• OPPI India Awards 2026: AstraZeneca Pharma India received the Medical Excellence Award for
its contributions to Rare Disease and was named Runner-up in the Marketing Excellence category
for its Hyperkalaemia & Kidney Care initiative in Biopharmaceuticals.
• ETHRWorld Employee Experience Awards 2026: AstraZeneca Pharma India was awarded the Gold
Award in the Exceptional Employee Experience in Driving Business Impact category, recognising
its commitment to fostering a high-performing, collaborative and purpose-driven workplace.
