During Q1 FY27, Total Income increased by 50% year-on-year to ₹305.88 crore, while EBITDA grew by 190% to ₹36.33 crore. PAT increased by 253% to ₹22.38 crore, reflecting a significant improvement in operating leverage and profitability. Sales of our value- added coated steel products increased by approximately 40%, highlighting the continued strengthening of our product mix and market positioning. The quarter witnessed an increase in steel prices during April, followed by relative stabilisation through May and June. While power and fuel availability improved compared with the previous quarter, their costs remained elevated. Against this backdrop, our focus on operational efficiency, product mix and disciplined cost management enabled us to deliver a substantial improvement in margins and profitability. Our Aluzinc-Coated Steel Line continued to perform strongly at around 90% capacity utilisation, while the existing Colour-Coating Line operated at full capacity. The strong utilisation levels reflect healthy demand for our value-added coated products and provide a strong base for further growth. Our international operations also continued to gain momentum, with our Nigerian subsidiary, Federated Steel Mills Ltd. (FSML), recording approximately 50% year-on-year growth in revenue. The continued growth of our international business further strengthens our market diversification and creates additional avenues for sustainable growth. As we progress through FY 2026–27, our focus remains on maximising capacity utilisation, increasing the contribution of value-added products, strengthening our market presence and improving operational efficiencies. With our Aluzinc line operating at high utilisation, the existing colour-coating facility running at full capacity, and the new CCL II erection progressing well, we are positioned to build on the momentum of FY 2025–26 and pursue the next phase of sustainable and profitable growth. Our commitment remains firmly focused on disciplined execution, prudent capital allocation and creating enduring value for our shareholders and stakeholders.” ABOUT MANAKSIA STEELS LIMITED Manaksia Steels Limited (‘MSL’) (NSE: MANAKSTEEL, BSE: 539044) is a prominent manufacturer and exporter of coated steel products, offering a wide range of high-quality, value- added steel solutions.
