(BSE: 543273) (NSE: KMEW) Annexure - A Press Release KMEW Reinforces Maritime Security with Repeat Order win from Paradip Port Authority Mumbai, August 10, 2026: Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited ("KMEW") (BSE: 543273 | NSE: KMEW) is pleased to announce that, KMEW has been awarded with a work order by the Paradip Port Authority ("PPA") for the hiring of one 25-Knot Speed Patrol-Cum-Chase Boat (River Sea Vessel type IV/ MS Act), along with manning crew. The contract is for a period of five years and is valued at ₹ 11,41,01,079/- including GST (Rupees Eleven Crores Forty-One Lakh One Thousand Seventy-Nine Only). The five-year contract with Paradip Port Authority involves the deployment and operation of a 25-Knot Speed Patrol-Cum-Chase Boat, supported by a dedicated professional crew. This vessel will significantly augment PPA’s waterfront patrolling capabilities, enabling Port Security Staff to meet the stringent requirements of the ISPS Code and to execute critical marine operations with enhanced efficiency. Operating round-the-clock in all weather conditions, the vessel will be designed to intercept and deter miscreants and unauthorized crafts within port limits, while also supporting broader marine operations. The vessel’s rapid response capability ensures that Paradip Port maintains a secure, compliant, and resilient operational environment. Through this deployment, KMEW reinforces its commitment to strengthening maritime security infrastructure, safeguarding port assets, and enhancing the overall operational resilience of Paradip Port. KMEW will construct the Speed cum Chase Boat in-house, tailored to the specific operational requirements of Paradip Port Authority, and ensure its deployment within the stipulated timeline. The execution will be further supported by the Group’s expanding shipbuilding capabilities through Knowledge Shipyard Private Limited (KSPL), KMEW’s dedicated shipbuilding arm, along with the upcoming shipyard at Saphale, Maharashtra.
