PRESS NOTE
T.T. Limited Announces Strategic Growth Roadmap; Capacity Expansion and Improving
Industry Outlook Position for Stronger Performance:
T.T. Limited at its Board meeting held on August 06, 2026, approved the financial results for the
quarter ended June 30, 2026. During the quarter, the Company reported Revenue from Operations
of Rs. 46.42 crore (Rupees Forty-Six Crore Forty-Two Lakh Only) and Profit Before Tax (PBT)
of Rs. 25.90 lakh (Rupees Twenty-Five Lakh Ninety Thousand Only).
While the Company reported largely stable revenues during the first quarter, profitability
remained below the management's expectations and below the levels it strives to deliver for its
shareholders.
The quarter was impacted by several unavoidable external factors, including:
15–20% increase in cotton and polyester yarn prices, one of the Company's key raw
materials.
70–80% increase in packaging material costs.
Continued inflationary pressures resulting in higher labour and operating costs.
Significant increase in domestic and international freight costs.
Supply chain disruptions and uncertainty arising from the Middle East conflict, which
affected input costs and overall market sentiment.
While the Company was forced to absorb a significant portion of these cost increases in the short
term, competitive market conditions limited the ability to immediately pass on the full impact to
customers.
Despite these near-term challenges, the management remains highly optimistic about the
Company's outlook over the coming quarters.
Capacity Expansion Underway
As part of its long-term strategy, TT Limited is set to double the stitching capacity at its Howrah
(Kolkata) garment facility over the next three months.
With additional space already available within the existing premises, the Company plans to
increase capacity from 150 stitching machines to approximately 300 machines, significantly
strengthening its manufacturing capabilities while improving operational efficiencies.
Business Development
With a view to strengthening the Company’s future growth prospects and expanding its customer
base, the management continues to focus on developing new business relationships and onboarding
large-scale institutional and retail customers. During the quarter, the Company successfully added
D’Mart and CSD (Canteen Stores Department) to its portfolio of valued customers. The
Company’s customer base also includes prominent large-scale buyers such as V-Mart, Vishal Mega
Mart, V2 Retail, Police Canteens, and other institutional and retail customers. The addition of these
customers is expected to enhance the Company’s market reach, strengthen its distribution network
and contribute positively to business growth in the coming periods.
Positive Industry Developments
The Company is encouraged by several favourable developments that are expected to support
growth going forward:
The signing of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement, opening new opportunities for Indian
apparel exports.
Improving global sentiment with signs of easing geopolitical tensions.
Expectations of greater stability in raw material prices and logistics costs.
Continued focus on expanding domestic branded garment sales.
Alongside export opportunities, T.T. Limited remains committed to strengthening its domestic
business through continued investment in its brands, distribution network, and value-added
product portfolio.
Management Outlook
The management remains confident that the strategic initiatives undertaken over the past two
years—including debt reduction, manufacturing realignment, capacity expansion, and renewed
focus on branded garments—position the Company well for sustainable long-term growth.
The Company expects improved operational performance in the coming quarters as cost pressures
moderate, new capacity becomes operational, and domestic as well as export demand continues to
strengthen.
