Bengaluru | August 8, 2026: Deccan Gold Mines Limited (BSE: 512068), India's first and only listed
gold and critical minerals resource company, today announced its unaudited financial results for the
quarter ended June 30, 2026, alongside a series of strategic developments that reinforce the Company's
transition into a globally diversified, production-oriented mining company. During the quarter, the
Company recorded improved operational performance across its portfolio, stronger contribution from
associate companies, commencement of production at the Altyn Tor Gold Project, approval of a proposed
₹1370+ million growth capital raise and further strengthening of its Board and governance framework.
Strong Operational Momentum
The Company's share of profit from associates increased to ₹66.44 Mn during Q1 FY27, driven
primarily by higher production, increased inventory, and improved operational throughput at Geomysore
Services (India) Private Limited, together with a positive contribution from Kalevala Gold Oy, Finland.
This reflects the continued operational scale-up of the Company's associate mining assets.
During the quarter, Geomysore produced 89.70 kg of gold, while continuing to build inventory as
production ramped up. The Company expects this continued operational momentum to support higher
revenues and profitability in the coming quarters and contribute positively to consolidated earnings.
The quarter also marked a strong year-on-year financial turnaround. On a standalone basis, total
income from operations increased by 266% to ₹114.36 Mn, while the Company reported a net profit
of ₹11.52 Mn, compared with a net loss of ₹155.90 Mn in the corresponding quarter last year. On a
consolidated basis, total income from operations increased by 56% year-on-year, while the
consolidated loss narrowed by 69%, supported by improved associate performance.
Altyn Tor Enters Production
The quarter also marked a significant milestone at the Altyn Tor Gold Project in the Kyrgyz Republic,
which has entered the production phase following successful commissioning activities. As commercial
production ramps up during the September 2026 quarter, the project is expected to make a meaningful
contribution to the Company's revenues and profitability, reinforcing Deccan Gold's transition into a
production-oriented international mining company.
Growth Capital to Accelerate Expansion
To support its next phase of growth, the Board approved a proposed preferential capital raise of over
₹1370 million through a combination of Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs), equity shares, and
equity warrants, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. The proposed capital infusion will
support exploration, project development, production expansion and strategic investments across the
Company's gold and critical minerals portfolio in India and overseas.
Board Strengthened
The Board also approved the appointment of Ms. Jade Gemma Devenish as a Non-Executive Non-
Independent Director. Having relocated from Australia to India in 2009, she has played a pivotal role in
the development of the Jonnagiri Gold Project and brings extensive experience in mining project
development, capital raising, regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement. Further, Mr.
Pandarinathan Elango has been designated as Chairperson of the Board, along with the reconstitution
of Board Committees, reinforcing Deccan Gold's commitment to strong corporate governance and long-
term strategic oversight.
Commenting on the Company's performance and outlook, Dr. Hanuma Prasad Modali, Managing
Director, Deccan Gold Mines Limited, said:
"Our Q1 performance reflects the steady execution of Deccan Gold's long-term strategy. The continued
production ramp-up at Jonnagiri has resulted in a significantly stronger contribution from our associate
companies, while the commencement of production at Altyn Tor marks another important milestone in our
transition towards a diversified, production-oriented mining business.”
“Supported by the proposed capital raise and a strengthened governance framework, we are well positioned
to accelerate the next phase of growth across our gold and critical minerals portfolio. Our focus remains on
disciplined execution, responsible resource development and building a globally competitive mining
company that delivers sustainable long-term value while contributing to India's resource security." Adds Dr.
Hanuma
The Board has also convened an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on September 2, 2026, to seek
shareholders' approval for the proposed preferential issue and related matte₹
