This is in relation to the article appeared on www.thehindubusinessline.com dated August 7 2026 titled “FSSAI imposes penalty, adjudication order on AWL Agri Business Ltd”. In this regard, we wish to state that it has come to the notice of the Company through various media reports and social media posts referring to a penalty purportedly imposed by the Ld. Adjudicating District Magistrate, Goa, under the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and rules thereunder in relation to a single sample of Fortune Fryola sunflower oil, a niche variant of Fortune Sunflower Oil. The Company has not yet received a certified copy of the adjudication order. Based on the information available to the Company, the matter relates to declared levels of Vitamins A and D in that specific sample and does not relate to the safety of the product. It may be noted that added vitamins are inherently sensitive to storage conditions, light, and time. At AWL Agri Business Limited, product safety and quality remain our highest priorities. Our sourcing, manufacturing, refining, packaging, and quality-control processes comply with stringent food safety standards, and we are committed to deliver products confirming all applicable FSSAI requirements. The Company will review the adjudication order upon receipt and pursue such legal remedies as may be considered appropriate.
