RITES and HPCL officials at MoU-signing ceremony in Mumbai. Under the MoU, RITES will provide end-to-end consultancy services from concept to commissioning for railway siding projects, including feasibility studies, final location surveys, detailed project reports (DPRs), detailed engineering, project management consultancy, construction supervision, and coordination with Indian Railways for statutory approvals. The collaboration aims at strengthening rail-based logistics infrastructure for the efficient movement of petroleum products by supporting the development of new railway sidings, rail connectivity, and the upgradation of existing infrastructure. By leveraging RITES' expertise in railway infrastructure and project management, the partnership seeks to enhance logistics efficiency and support HPCL's infrastructure development initiatives across its facilities.
