successfully inaugurated during the quarter, showcasing Afcons engineering excellence and marking a
key milestone in improving regional connectivity
Commenting on the Results, Mr. Subramanian Krishnamurthy, Executive Chairman (Whole-time
Director) said, “We are pleased to begin FY27 on a positive note with a healthy order inflow of ₹13,219
crore during the quarter, taking our pending order book to ₹43,290 crore, and strengthening our book-
to-bill ratio of 3.8x. The quarter was marked by some marquee project wins, including the Croatia rail
project and the Vadhavan Port breakwater package, reflecting our strong technical capabilities and
improving momentum in project awards.
For Q1 FY27, Total Income stood at ₹2,727 crore, while EBITDA was ₹263 crore, resulting in an EBITDA
margin of 9.6%. The Company reported a PAT of ₹30 crore. The financial performance continued to
reflect the impact of factors that persisted through FY26. We expect stronger execution in the second
half of the financial year.
During the quarter, we also achieved an important execution milestone. I am delighted to share that the
Mumbai–Pune Expressway Missing Link Project was inaugurated on 1st May 2026, marking another
defining milestone in Afcons journey of delivering iconic infrastructure for the nation. The cable-stayed
bridge executed by Afcons, which forms the centerpiece of this landmark project, is India's tallest road
cable-stayed bridge. The successful completion of this engineering-intensive project reflects our
capability to execute technically complex infrastructure under challenging conditions and reinforces our
commitment to delivering projects of national importance with excellence.”
