On superannuation of Shri Ganesh Chandra Saha, General Manager (Mining), Shri Jayanta Kumar Das, General Manager (Mining), has assumed the charge of Area General Manager, PB Area. Accordingly, Shri Jayanta Kumar Das has become Senior Management Personnel of Bharat Coking Coal Limited and Shri Ganesh Chandra Saha ceases to be Senior Management Personnel of the Company. 2. On superannuation of Shri Madhup Kumar Seth, General Manager (Excavation), Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha, General Manager (Excavation), has assumed the charge of General Manager/ HoD, Excavation Department. Accordingly, Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha has become Senior Management Personnel of Bharat Coking Coal Limited and Shri Madhup Kumar Seth ceases to be Senior Management Personnel of the Company. 3. Shri Avrendra Kumar, General Manager (Mining)/HoD, Environment Department has superannuated from the company. Accordingly, Shri Avrendra Kumar ceases to be a Senior Management Personnel of Bharat Coking Coal Limited. Reason for change – On superannuation of Shri Ganesh Chandra Saha, General Manager (Mining), Shri Jayanta Kumar Das, General Manager (Mining), has assumed the charge of Area General Manager, PB Area 2. Date of Appointment – 30.06.2026 3. Brief Profile - Shri Jayanta Kumar Das is the General Manager (Mining) of our Company. He has been associated with the Company since May 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) degree from NIT Rourkela and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from NMIMS, Mumbai. Prior to joining our Company, he served in various capacities at Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), North Eastern Coalfields (NEC) and Coal India Limited (CIL) since April 1993. He has over three decades of rich experience in the coal mining sector, particularly in underground & opencast mining, and has also gained extensive experience in the areas of Safety & Rescue, Project Monitoring and New Initiatives during his tenure at the Headquarters of Coal India Limited. Change in HoD (Excavation Department) 1. Reason for change – On superannuation of Shri Madhup Kumar Seth, General Manager (Excavation), Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha, General Manager (Excavation), has assumed the charge of General Manager/ HoD, Excavation Department 2. Date of Appointment – 30.06.2026 3. Brief Profile - Shri Rakesh Kumar Sinha is the General Manager (Excavation) of our Company. He has been associated with our Company since May 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mine Machinery from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad. Prior to joining our Company, he served at Northern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, from August 1991 to May 2023. He has over three decades of experience in the coal mining sector, particularly in excavation and mine machinery operations.
