Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a subsidiary of the Company, post qualifying at the initial bid stage, participated in the live e-au ction for grant of the stated Mining Lease. Vi de notification dated August 07, 2026 (received by the Company at 11:55 am IST), BALCO has been declared as 'Preferred Bidder' for the Karlapat Bauxite Block. As per the tender document, the Karlapat Bauxite Block is at G2 level of exploration with total area of 1,822.61 hectares for the block and estimated mineral reserves of ~ 248 Million Tonnes.
