*Previous year the Boundary has been disclosed based on the consolidated boundary including operational control subsidiaries. For the current year,
the Company has expanded the boundary to include all subsidiaries and joint ventures. Consequently, differences in reporting boundaries between the
previous and current financial years may affect the comparability of certain disclosures.
Note
Talcher Fertilizers Limited (TFL) a Joint Venture Company is currently under construction, with its Consent to Establish
(CTE) valid until 20th October, 2029. Data pertaining to BRSR will be furnished later upon the project’s transition to the
operational phase and receipt of Consent to Operate (CTO).
ICVL is currently not having its own pay structure and own permanent employees. All the executives are posted on
deputation basis from their parent / promoter companies. Salary, allowances and other benefits are being paid by their
respective companies as per their entitlement and the same is debited to ICVL. Also, ICVL is presently not having any
plant / mine or operations in India. Subsidiaries and JV of ICVL India are located abroad and are not considered .

Power and Regulated Sector Customers: This segment primarily consists of power generation companies
operated by Central and State Governments, along with private power producers, which collectively account for
the largest share of Coal India Limited’s coal consumption for electricity generation. It also includes other regulated
industries such as Fertilizers, Railways, and Defence, which rely on coal to meet their operational requirements.
Non-Regulated Sector Customers: This category includes industries such as cement, steel, aluminium, and other
manufacturing enterprises, including captive power plants. These customers utilize coal either as a primary fuel for
operational activities or as a key raw material in their manufacturing processes.
