Western Railway, vide Advance Rates Notification No. 72 (Goods) of 2026 dated August 06, 2026, has approved the commissioning of the GCT. The GCT has been assigned the Alpha & Numerical Code KEGS / 08524078 and has a track capacity of CC+8. The commissioning of the GCT marks an important milestone for Kalyani Cast Tech Limited towards strengthening its cargo handling and logistics operations, while also contributing to the reduction of logistics costs. The Alpha & Numerical code is KEGS & 08524078 respectively. 2. GCT will operate on ‘Non-TDB & Non-EOL’ 3. Charging of Freight: The freight will be charged upto Shivlakha station as GCT is being commissioned on ‘Non Through Distance basis’ (Non-TDB). Beyond the serving station i.e. Shivlakha, siding charges will be levied at the prevailing rate of shunting charges on actual utilisation of engine on the actual pattern of movement. 4. Till commissioning of EIMWB at KEGS GCT, EIMWB of Samkhiali (SIOB) & Adesar (AAR) is nominated for weighment of rakes as per direction of movement. 5. All concerned to comply with the guidelines of Board for weighment of rakes booked from this terminal on the notified weighbridges. 6. Till installation of FOIS at GCT, Samkhiali (SIOB) is notified as Nodal Station for TMS working. IP address of SIOB is -10.68.201.44 7. The capacity of the track is CC+8. 8. Global Customer Code is KMTE. Instructions contained in Master Circular on GCT and its amendments issued by Railway Board from time to time will apply. This GCT is opened temporary with non-interlocked connectivity for a period of six(6)months from the date of issue of this notification.
