Brief Profile Mr. Ramakrishnan Chander (age: 58 years) is the Managing Director of LIC. He is a Science Graduate, a Fellow Member of the Insurance Institute of India, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management. Mr. Chander joined LIC in 1990, brings over 35 years of experience across marketing, administration, and investment management. During his illustrious career, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Executive Director (Investment – Front Office), Executive Director of LIC’s Strategic Business Unit for International Operations, Chief Investment Officer, Senior Divisional Manager, and Regional Manager (Marketing and Pension & Group Schemes). Mr. Chander is also Non-Executive Director of LIC Cards Services Limited, LIC Mutual Fund Trustee Private Limited, and LICHFL Care Homes Limited, amongst others. 4.
