39TH ANNUAL REPORT 2025-26
Chairman’s Statement
Dear Shareholders,
I am pleased to present the Annual Report of Timken India Limited for the financial year 2025-26.
FY 2025-26 was a year of strategic progress and important milestones for our Company. We delivered our highest-ever revenue
while maintaining resilient profitability, despite an environment marked by geopolitical uncertainties, evolving trade dynamics
and changing industrial supply chains. This performance reflects the strength of our business model, the dedication of our
employees and the enduring trust our customers place in us. At the same time, we continued to invest meaningfully in expanding
our manufacturing footprint and building capabilities that will support long-term growth.
India continued to stand out as one of the fastest-growing major economies, supported by investments in infrastructure,
manufacturing, railways and energy transition. These structural drivers, combined with increasing localisation and supply-chain
diversification, continue to create significant opportunities for industrial companies with strong technology, manufacturing
capabilities and customer relationships.
We are well positioned to participate in this growth journey. During the year, we strengthened our manufacturing footprint,
expanded our capabilities and continued to invest in the future while maintaining our focus on operational excellence and
financial discipline.
The inauguration of our Bharuch manufacturing facility marked a defining milestone in this journey. This investment reflects our
confidence in India's long-term industrial growth and our commitment to building world-class manufacturing capabilities closer
to our customers. Bharuch enhances our ability to serve customers with a broader product portfolio, improved responsiveness and
greater manufacturing flexibility. More importantly, it strengthens the foundation for the next phase of our growth.
Bringing a new site online requires patience and perseverance. As the Bharuch facility ramps up, we continue to incur initial
operating costs and fund capability building. We view these investments through a long-term lens. The opportunities ahead are
substantial, and Bharuch positions us well to serve them with confidence.
Even while making these investments, we have remained financially strong. During FY 2025-26, we allocated approximately 8% of
our revenue for capital expenditures while maintaining a debt-free balance sheet and a healthy liquidity position. This balanced
approach, investing decisively for growth while preserving financial strength, reflects our long-term philosophy of creating
sustainable value for all stakeholders.
Our established plants continued to deliver strong operational performance, supported by a culture of safety, quality and
continuous improvement. Across the organisation, our teams remained focused on improving productivity, strengthening
customer partnerships and delivering consistent value. The resilience of our profitability, even as we invested in new capabilities
and managed the initial costs of ramping up Bharuch, demonstrates the strength of our operations and the discipline with which
we manage our business.
I am pleased to share that the Company and its employees continued to earn widespread recognition during the year for
excellence across multiple facets of our business, including manufacturing, quality, safety, sustainability and workplace practices.
We were honoured to receive the prestigious Champion of Manufacturing Award 2026, the Best Organization to Work 2025
award, the Best-in-Class Manufacturing Supply Chain Award 2025, as well as recognition for our Corporate Social Responsibility
initiatives. We were also recognised across multiple categories at the CII Champions Trophy, underscoring the breadth and
consistency of our performance. These accolades are a tes
