PRESS RELEASE
KFIL reports Q1 FY2027, Standalone Revenue at INR 1,771,
4% increase Year on Year, Net Profit at INR 82 Cr
Pune, India – 5 August 2026: Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (BSE : 500245), one of the leading
castings and pig iron manufacturers and a leading player in steel and seamless tubes in India, announced
today its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27.
Commenting on the Q1 FY 2027 results, Mr. R.V.Gumaste, Managing Director, KFIL, said
"This quarter, Kirloskar Ferrous has demonstrated its operational resilience by delivering a 4% year-over-
year revenue growth, navigating a complex market with mixed demand signals. Our performance was
anchored by the strong momentum in our Castings and Steel businesses, which saw volume growth of
18% and 13% respectively, driven by robust demand in the automotive and precision engineering sectors.
While we faced headwinds from firm coking coal prices and a planned moderation in the tubes segment,
our strategic focus on enhancing product mix and expanding our market reach has been effective. We are
particularly encouraged by the progress in our value-added castings and the new customer acquisitions
in our tubes business.
Looking ahead, we will continue to execute on our five key strategic priorities, with a sharp focus on cost
leadership through green energy adoption and operational excellence. We remain confident that our
ongoing efficiency projects and capacity enhancements will strengthen our market position and drive
sustainable value for our stakeholders."
