In terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended, we wish to inform that ‘Committee of
Directors on Investment on Projects’ of POWERGRID, in its meeting held today i.e.
Wednesday, 05th August, 2026, has accorded investment approval for the project namely
“Reconductoring of Tirunelveli – Udumalpet and Pugalur - Madurai 400kV D/c lines with
HTLS conductor” to be booked under Additional Capital Expenditure” at an estimated cost of
₹856.94 Crore scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of allocation
of project i.e. by 11.02.2028.
