The production will be undertaken against orders received by JR UAV Italy for specialised components forming part of UAV systems. The Kashidkopar facility is being set up as a dedicated manufacturing base for precision components catering to unmanned aerial platforms, and marks a significant step in the Group's expansion into the high-technology defence and aerospace manufacturing value chain. The commencement of production is expected to strengthen the Group's presence in the global UAV supply chain, deepen its international footprint, and support its stated objective of building indigenous manufacturing capability for advanced defence and aerospace systems in line with the Government of India's "Make in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives.
