SPR Auto Technologies Delivers Strong Start to FY27 Driven by
Continued Momentum Across All Businesses
Q1FY27 Consolidated Total Income grew by 51% YoY to Rs. 14,992 Million
Consolidated EBITDA grew by 27% YoY to Rs. 2,828 Million
New Delhi, 04th August 2026: SPR Auto Technologies Limited (Formerly Shriram Pistons & Rings
Limited) (herein referred to as “SPR”), India’s leading automotive component manufacturer of
pistons, piston pins, piston rings, engine valves, high-precision injection moulded components,
EV motors & controllers, and automotive interior solutions, announced the unaudited financial
results for the quarter ended 30th June 2026.
Speaking about the performance and recent updates, Mr. Krishnakumar Srinivasan, Managing
Director & CEO, said:
“I am pleased to share that SPR Auto Technologies has commenced FY27 on a strong and
encouraging note, sustaining the growth momentum witnessed over the past few quarters. The
Company delivered this strong performance despite an adverse industry environment during
the quarter, marked by heightened geopolitical tensions, supply-chain disruptions, increasing
raw material costs, and broader macroeconomic uncertainties. In spite of these headwinds, the
Indian automotive industry remained resilient, recording double-digit domestic sales growth in
Q1FY27.
During the quarter, the Company has delivered a strong performance, notwithstanding the
external issues faced by the industry. Consolidated Total Income grew by 51% YoY in Q1FY27,
while Consolidated EBITDA increased by 27% YoY, highlighting the strength of SPR’s diversified
business model and the effectiveness of our disciplined execution strategies.
SPR continues to reinforce its market leadership in legacy products, while gaining steady
traction in its powertrain-agnostic businesses, underpinned by deep-rooted customer
relationships, operational excellence and a focussed strategic approach. The company has also
maintained its leading position in the exports market, driven by increased penetration in newer
segments and geographies.
The Company is also progressing well with the integration of its recently acquired Auto Interior
Solutions & Lighting businesses, implementing key processes to drive operational synergies and
support long-term value creation. During the quarter, the Company continued to advance its
capacity expansion plans, by completing the acquisition of the piston manufacturing lines from
Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Pvt. Ltd. This strategic acquisition is expected to augment
SPR’s piston manufacturing capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and further strengthen its
legacy business.
Looking ahead, we remain optimistic about SPR’s growth prospects, supported by a resilient
core business, expanding powertrain-agnostic portfolio, and continued focus on operational

confident of sustaining our growth momentum and creating long-term value for all
stakeholders.”
