Mumbai, 4 August 2026: Systema(cid:415)c Industries Limited (SIL), a leading manufacturer of specialised steel
wires, cables and op(cid:415)cal fibre solu(cid:415)ons, today announced the acquisi(cid:415)on of a Galvanized Iron (GI) Wire
manufacturing facility located at Siltara, Chha(cid:427)sgarh. The acquired facility spans approximately 10 acres and
has an installed capacity of 48,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of GI wires.
Strategic Ra(cid:415)onale: This acquisi(cid:415)on is aligned with SIL’s long-term strategy of scaling its core wire business
and strengthening its presence in infrastructure-linked segments.
Capacity Expansion: Enhances installed capacity by ~48%, taking total capacity to ~1,48,000 MTPA
across five units
Geographic Advantage: Strengthens presence in Central India, enabling faster access to high-growth
markets
Demand Alignment: Supports rising demand from power transmission & distribu(cid:415)on and
infrastructure sectors
Market Posi(cid:415)oning: Reinforces SIL’s standing as a key na(cid:415)onal player in the GI wires segment
Synergies & Value Crea(cid:415)on
The acquisi(cid:415)on is expected to deliver meaningful opera(cid:415)onal and financial synergies by leveraging the
strategic loca(cid:415)on of the facility to op(cid:415)mise logis(cid:415)cs costs and improve service efficiency across pan India.
Integra(cid:415)on with SIL’s exis(cid:415)ng distribu(cid:415)on and customer network will enable be(cid:425)er capacity u(cid:415)lisa(cid:415)on and
support faster fulfilment, while also expanding the Company’s customer base and crea(cid:415)ng cross-selling
opportuni(cid:415)es across its broader product por(cid:414)olio. Given that the plant is fully opera(cid:415)onal, the transac(cid:415)on is
immediately EPS accre(cid:415)ve, with a balanced funding approach ensuring disciplined capital alloca(cid:415)on. Overall,
the acquisi(cid:415)on strengthens SIL’s ability to scale efficiently, enhance margins over (cid:415)me, and drive sustainable
value crea(cid:415)on for stakeholders.
