NIIT Limited announces Q1 FY’27 results

New Delhi, July 21, 2026: NIIT Limited (Ticker Symbol: NIITLTD), a leading Skills & Talent development
corporation, announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
During the quarter, the company recorded Net Revenue of Rs. 957 million, up 14% YoY. The Enterprise
business, which contributes 65% of total revenue, grew 8% YoY. The Consumer business, which
contributes 35% of the total, recorded 27% growth YoY.
Technology programs, which make up 71% of revenue, continued to grow strongly, achieving revenue of
Rs. 680 million, up 16% YoY. Growth was driven by new AI programs launched by NIIT for IT services
companies and Global Capability Centers in India, helping employees build AI capabilities and prepare for
emerging AI-led roles.
BFSI & Other programs, which contributed the balance 29%, grew 9% to Rs. 277 million, driven by
improved fresher hiring by partner banks, even as lateral training remained under pressure. Order intake
during the quarter was Rs. 953 million.
AI-led revenue continues to grow and contributed 9% to the overall revenue.
NIIT Ltd also improved its operating-level profitability in Q1 FY’27 through effective cost management and
improved productivity. This along with treasury income, resulted in a PAT of Rs 81 million, up 85% YoY.

Other Highlights
Strengthening its consumer learning portfolio, NIIT expanded its GenAI offerings with the launch of six
new programs designed for students, educators, marketers, no-code developers and working
professionals. The programs reinforce NIIT's focus on application-led AI learning by equipping learners
with practical capabilities in AI productivity, automation, content creation and real-world enterprise
applications.
As part of its continued focus on advancing AI and technology leadership, NIIT hosted the fourth edition
of the World Digital Architect Conclave (WDAC) 2026, expanding it into a global platform for enterprise
architects, AI leaders, engineering practitioners and technology executives. Held under the theme
‘Architecting for Tomorrow’s Experiences in an AI-First World,’ the conclave brought together 177 external
attendees from 57 companies, including industry leaders, digital architects and enterprise decision-
makers, to discuss enterprise AI, digital transformation and workforce capability building.
NIIT Enterprise Tech also strengthened its engagement with customers through executive forums and
thought leadership initiatives. BAL&NCE 4.0 in Chennai attracted senior leaders from multiple
organisations for discussions on business transformation, AI and workforce readiness. Webinars on
Enterprise Architecture and Production AI Agents also received a very encouraging response. This
participation indicates sustained interest in emerging enterprise technologies and creates further
opportunities for knowledge exchange and customer engagement.
NIIT unveiled the India Skills Gap Report 2026, developed in partnership with YouGov and based on
insights from over 3,500 respondents, including students, professionals, recruiters, CXOs and members of
academia. The report highlighted growing demand for digital, data, cybersecurity and AI skills, as well as
a shift towards skills-first hiring, industry certifications and continuous upskilling. The findings reinforce
NIIT's continued focus on building future-ready talent through industry-aligned, outcome-driven learning
solutions.
AI fluency and GenAI initiatives remained key areas of focus, with multiple organisations across sectors
engaging NIIT to deliver masterclasses and bootcamps for leadership and functional teams.
NIIT partnered with a leading consumer durables company to launch a High-Potential Leadership
Acceleration Program focused on building a stronger succession pipeline. The program combines
leadership assessments, personalised development journeys, coaching and business-led capstone projects
to prepare high-potential employees for larger strategic and commercial roles.
In the automotive and mobility sector, NIIT expanded engagements with leading OEMs and a two-wheeler
manufacturer across product launch readiness, digital sales enablement, product learning content and
software-defined vehicle capabilities.
