The Board, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has considered that Dr. Suresh Akella continues to satisfy the criteria of independence as prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI Listing Regulations and that, considering his qualifications, expertise and rich experience, his continued association with the Company would be beneficial to the Company.
