Name(s) of opposing party, The Company has filed a Writ Petition before the Hon’ble court/ tribunal/ agency Bombay High Court challenging an order dated 29th June 2026 where litigation is filed, brief (“Order”) issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of details of dispute/litigation; India (“FSSAI”) under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (“FSSA”), in relation to sale of one of the products manufactured at the Company’s Baramati Unit on the ground that the product labels are not in conformance with the provisions of FSSA. 2. Expected financial Currently, there are no material operational or financial implications, if any, due to implications as a result of the Order. The Company continues to compensation, penalty etc.; closely monitor this matter and its operational and financial implications. 3. Quantum of claims, if any; Not applicable. 4. Other information Based on legal advice, the Company is of the view that the declarations on the product labels in question are in compliance with the current applicable legal and regulatory framework in India and are consistent with long-standing industry practice. The Company has therefore challenged the Order by filing a Writ Petition on 1st August 2026, Saturday before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court. The Company is aware of certain media reports, and the Press Release dated 2nd August 2026 issued by the FSSAI in relation to the matter. As the matter is currently sub judice before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, the Company does not consider it appropriate to comment further at this stage. This is also being taken up with the FSSAI by the industry associations, viz., Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC) and the International Spirits & Wines Association of India (ISWAI) as this is an industry wide concern. This disclosure is being made on the first working day after filing of Writ Petition. The delay in disclosure was due to the time needed for verification of facts and information with multiple internal stakeholders. *****
