Q1FY27 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS: YoY DOUBLE DIGIT GROWTH Q1FY27 OPERATING REVENUES Q1FY27 EBITDA Q1FY27 PAT ₹ 433.4 Cr ₹ 65.5 Cr ₹ 39.6 Cr +17.5% +23.0% +24.9 % YoY YoY CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL SUMMARY In ₹ Cr Q1FY27 Q1FY26 YoY Q4FY26 QoQ FY26 Operating 433.4 346.9 +24.9% 450.3 (3.8%) 1,609.7 Revenues Gross Profit 193.9 158.2 +22.6% 210.4 (7.8%) 725.6 Gross Margin 44.7% 45.6% 46.7% 45.1% EBITDA 65.5 55.7 +17.5% 76.7 (14.6%) 252.4 EBITDA Margin 15.1% 16.1% 17.0% 15.7% PAT 39.6 32.2 +23.0% 43.4 (8.7%) 142.2 PAT Margin 9.1% 9.3% 9.6% 8.8% OPERATING & STRATEGIC HIGHLIGHTS ▪ Consistent Q1FY27 Performance: Delivered a robust performance in Q1FY27, with Revenue, EBITDA and PAT growing by 24.9%, 22.6% and 23.0% YoY, respectively. The performance reflects strong execution and operational resilience. On a sequential basis, performance moderated due to a planned maintenance shutdown of nearly one month at the Company’s facility in Vizag. ▪ Balanced Domestic:Export mix: Diversified 45:55 Domestic-to-Export revenue mix demonstrates VCL’s agility across markets. Other Income stood at ₹ 12.8 Cr during the quarter primarily due to net foreign exchange gains due to higher exports during the quarter. Q1FY27 Earnings Release Page 1 VISHNU CHEMICALS LIMITED BSE: 516072 | NSE: VISHNU ▪ Chromium – Improving Value Mix: Margin improvement was driven by Company’s continued strategic shift towards higher-value-added derivatives over base speciality chemicals with better margins and attractive long-term growth opportunities. ▪ Barium – Stable operations and further integration: Volumes and value continue to remain consistent and operate at optimum capacity utilisation. Expansion of its Ramadas operations, which leverages specialised US technology, is in process. This will further strengthen backward integration and enhance product quality for our customers. ▪ Strontium – Scaling up: Q1FY27 revenues were nearly equal to full year annual revenues achieved in FY26, reflecting encouraging scale-up of this business. ▪ South Africa business – Progressing towards Operations: Business in South Africa is creating a strong foundation. During the quarter, the Company focused on infrastructure refurbishment, engineering and stability assessments, contractor mobilisation, employee hiring and regulatory compliances, with a strong emphasis on ensuring safe and stable operations. The operations are expected to commence from H2FY27 onwards. ▪ Geopolitical and logistics environment: While the Company has not experienced any significant supply disruptions, ocean freight costs have increased amid geopolitical tensions in West Asia. For instance, freight rates from India to Latin America have increased from approx. USD3,000–4,000 to around USD9,000 over the past three months, while rates to Africa have risen from approximately USD3,500 to USD7,500. These are unsustainable in the medium-to-long term. ▪ Expanding Solar Footprint: VCL plans to add approximately 20 MW of solar power capacity across its Vizag and Srikalahasti operations, significantly expanding its existing renewable energy portfolio of 4.3 MW. This initiative will deliver meaningful savings in electricity costs, while further advancing the Company’s sustainability objectives. ▪ Growth drivers: The upcoming capacity additions in new speciality chemicals, backward integration expansion in Barium, shift in Chromium’s value added product mix and ramp-up of operations in South Africa are expected to support medium-term growth. ▪ Outlook: While the Company remains positive on its medium-term growth prospects, it continues to remain vigilant amid an uncertain global macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, particularly in relation to raw material, fuel and logistics costs.
