EXHICON’s purpose-built exhibition venue development pipeline across multiple ongoing projects in India has reached 1,25,000 Square Metres— equivalent to 25% of India’s current operational indoor purpose-built exhibition venue capacity of approximately 5,00,000 Square Metres. More than 60,000 Square Metres of this portfolio is expected to be completed by the end of FY 2026–27. A major contributor to this milestone is a landmark contract awarded by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (‘ACMA’) for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027. Under the agreement, EXHICON will design, engineer and execute 30,000 Square Metres of pre-engineered purpose-built exhibition infrastructure at Yashobhumi, Dwarka, New Delhi. The project will commence in September 2026 and is scheduled for completion by January 2027, ahead of the Expo. The agreement was signed in New Delhi on July 30, 2026 by Mr. Vinnie Mehta, Secretary, ACMA; Mr. Anil Unni, CEO – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, ACMA; Mr. M. Q. Syed, Chairman & Managing Director, EXHICON; and Ms. Zainab Rizvi, Director – Design & Projects, EXHICON. Beyond venue development, EXHICON’s strength lies in its integrated Venue as a Service (VAS) model, under which the company not only develops purpose-built exhibition venues but also undertakes their Operations & Maintenance (O&M), enabling venue owners to maximise utilisation, operational efficiency and long-term asset value.
