PRESS & MEDIA RELEASE
Mamata Machinery resumes operations at its plant following a brief
flooding-related disruption
Ahmedabad, India – July 31, 2026: Mamata Machinery Limited (‘Mamata’ or ‘the Company’), a leading machinery
solution provider in the flexible packaging industry, announced that manufacturing operations at its Ahmedabad plant
have resumed with effect from July 30, 2026, after a brief 5-day disruption caused by flooding on account of
unprecedented heavy rainfall.
Ahmedabad and surrounding areas, including Changodar and Bavla, received extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in
flood-like conditions and severe water logging in and around the Company's manufacturing unit at Survey No. 423/P,
Sarkhej-Bavla Road, Moraiya, Sanand, Ahmedabad – 382213. Consequently, manufacturing operations and
production at the plant were temporarily suspended, as intimated to the stock exchanges on July 25, 2026. With the
flood water having substantially receded and necessary restoration and clean-up activities undertaken,
manufacturing operations and production resumed with effect from July 30, 2026, as intimated on the same date.
All assets of the Company are safe and adequately insured and the matter has been intimated to the insurance
company. Accordingly, no material financial impact is expected on account of this event. All efforts of the Company
are currently focused on the complete restoration of operations and plant activity.
