1. Brief Details of Litigation: The Company (including its Subsidiary i.e.
(Name of the opposing party and court Mahabal Cement Pvt. Ltd.) has received a
where litigation is filed) notice on 30th July 2026 relating to writ
petition filed under Article 226 of the
Constitution of India before the Hon’ble
Brief details of dispute/litigation- Gauhati High Court by Prosanjit Nunisa and
66 others. The said writ petition was filed
against the Union of India and 13 others
including the Company and its above
Subsidiary.
The above petitioners are aggrieved by
allotment/leasing of lands (approx. 3,000
Bighas in Dima Hasao district) by the
respondent authorities in favour of the
Assam Mineral Development Corporation
Limited (AMDCL), JK Lakshmi Cement
Limited and Mahabal Cement Pvt. Limited.
