Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has announced the commencement of commercial operations for its 6.91 MW Waste Heat Recovery Based Power Plant, effective June 23, 2026. This plant, situated at the company's existing integrated steel facility in Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, utilizes waste heat generated from its Pellet Plant and Ferro Alloys Division. This development is expected to enhance operational efficiency and reduce reliance on external power sources, contributing to cost savings.
