Annual Report 2025-2026
DAI-ICHI KARKARIA LIMITED
From the Vice-Chairperson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director's Desk
Dear Shareholders,
Financial Year 2025-26 was a year of significant progress in strengthening the foundations of Dai-ichi Karkaria Limited for long
term growth. Throughout the year, we remained focused on enhancing our manufacturing capabilities, expanding customer
engagement, advancing product innovation, and building the organisational capabilities required to support the next phase of
growth. The investments made across our operations, technology, and product portfolio continue to strengthen our competitive
position and create new opportunities across both domestic and international markets.
A key milestone during the year was the expansion of our ethoxylation capacity through the addition of a new EO reactor at our
Dahej facility. This strategic investment strengthens our manufacturing platform, enhances operational flexibility, and broadens
our ability to serve a wider range of specialty chemical applications. The additional capacity supports our long-term growth
objectives by enabling greater responsiveness to customer requirements while creating opportunities across existing and emerging
markets. Alongside this investment, we continued to modernise production infrastructure and strengthen manufacturing systems
to support future growth.
Operational excellence remained a key focus area across all manufacturing locations. Our teams delivered meaningful
improvements in productivity, process efficiency, batch performance, and plant reliability. The Dahej facility achieved record
production levels across several product categories during the year, supported by continuous improvements in throughput,
cycle times, and operational discipline. These achievements reflect the dedication of our manufacturing teams and our ongoing
commitment to building world class operating capabilities.
Innovation continues to be central to our growth strategy. During the year, our research and development teams advanced
a number of products from development to commercialisation while progressing several customer specific projects through
technical validation and approval stages. We continued to invest in application development and customer focused innovation to
ensure our product portfolio remains aligned with evolving market requirements.
A significant development during the year was the commissioning of our dedicated Agrochemical Application Laboratory. This
facility enhances our ability to collaborate more closely with customers, accelerate formulation development, support product
evaluations, and reduce time-to-commercialisation. We believe this capability will play an important role in supporting future
growth across the agrochemical segment and strengthening our position as a solutions oriented partner.
We also made encouraging progress across our key business segments. In Oilfield Chemicals, we continued to expand customer
engagement, secure new product approvals, and strengthen our presence in domestic and international markets. Across Home
& Personal Care, Paints & Coatings, Textile Auxiliaries, Agrochemicals, we expanded our customer base, commercialised new
products, and deepened relationships with existing customers. Our focus remains on creating value through technical expertise,
product performance, reliability, and responsive customer support.
Customer development remained a major priority throughout the year. New custom
