Message from
Mr. Gaurav Poddar During Q1 FY27, demand remained stable despite some moderation in wedding and occasion-
led consumption due to the Adhik Maas period. Consumers continued to adopt a value-
President & Executive Director
conscious approach to spending, while inflationary pressures on input costs also persisted
during the quarter. Despite these factors, our strong brand portfolio and diversified product
offerings helped us maintain steady progress across our businesses.
We reported total income of ₹466 crores in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹400 crores in the
corresponding quarter last year. Fabric remained the largest contributor to revenue at 71%,
followed by Garments at 19%, while Yarn & Others contributed the remaining 10%. EBITDA for
the quarter stood at ₹40 crores, resulting into a margin of 8.6%, compared to ₹33 crores and a
margin of 8.2% in Q1 FY26. PAT improved to ₹11 crores from ₹5 crores, with the PAT margin
expanding to 2.4%.
We further expanded our retail network during the quarter with the addition of 3 ZECODE and
2 DEVO stores, taking the total store count to 30 and 19, respectively. As we move forward, our
focus remains on pursuing growth in a disciplined manner, with emphasis on quality locations,
operational excellence, and sustainable profitability.
While consumer spending patterns remain selective and demand continues to be influenced by
cautious purchasing behavior, the outlook for the coming quarters remains encouraging.
Supported by our strong brands, diversified portfolio, and focused growth initiatives, we remain
confident in our ability to drive sustainable growth and create long-term value.
