LT Foods Delivers a Strong and Disciplined start to FY’27
Revenue up by 26% YoY to Rs.3,161 Cr. and EBITDA up by 20% to Rs.363 Cr.
New Delhi, India, 30 July 2026: LT Foods, a global FMCG company in the consumer food space,
reported its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Mr. Ashwani Arora, Managing Director & CEO, LT Foods, said, “Q1 FY’27 was another quarter of
disciplined, profitable growth for LT Foods. Our consolidated revenue grew 26% (normalised growth
19%, including Golden Star) YoY to Rs. 3,161 crores (QoQ: up 7.6%), EBITDA grew 20%; Rs. 363
crores YoY (QoQ: up 21%) and PAT stood at Rs.183 crores, up 9.0% YoY (QoQ: up 35.5%), a
performance reflecting the strong brand equity of our flagship brands and Royal®,
disciplined execution and continued investments in premiumization, innovation and operational
excellence.
Our Basmati & Other Specialty Rice Basmati, continues to be at the heart of our story and grew 34%,
YoY with revenue in tune of Rs. 2,845 crores (normalised growth 24%, including Golden Star),
reaffirming the trust global consumers place in our brands (QoQ: up 7%). The Ready-to-Eat (RTE) &
Ready-to-Cook (RTC) segment reported revenue of Rs. 53 crores in Q1 FY’27, growing 13% YoY
(QoQ: up by 8%), as we deepened our presence in the convenience segment. Over FY’21–FY’26,
this portfolio has scaled approximately 2.5x.
Our India business continued its strong trajectory, leading to 23% value and 12% volume growth.
market share stood at 23.1% share (MAT June 2026, AC Nielsen Retail Survey Audit), up
from 22.4% a year ago. This growth reflects our strategy of driving category premiumisation,
expanding household penetration, strengthening distribution, and creating differentiated consumer
experiences through innovation and meaningful brand engagement. In addition, Kari Kari® also
expanded its footprint this quarter through its onboarding onto IndiGo Airlines.
North America remains our anchor market, witnessing 49% (normalised growth 27%, including
Golden Star) growth. Our flagship brand Royal® continued to command over 60% market share and
Golden Star maintaining its position as the No. 1 Jasmine Rice brand in the U.S. We further
strengthened our supply chain with the ground-breaking of a new 156,000 sq. ft. distribution
warehouse in Missouri City, Texas, which is scheduled for completion in January 2027. The facility
will enhance distribution capacity, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen customer service
capabilities across North America. The business has navigated tariff-related volatility and pricing
resets during the period, but the underlying brand strength, category leadership and channel presence
remain intact.
Europe and the UK are currently in an investment phase. During the quarter, we continued to
strengthen our market presence through focused consumer engagement, portfolio expansion and
deeper retail partnerships. Staying true to our commitment to authentic regional food experiences, LT
Foods Europe expanded portfolio with three new South Indian rice varieties, including
Idli Rice, Ponni Rice and Matta Rice.
In the Middle East, we also expanded our portfolio in Oman with the launch of Extra Long
Grain Basmati and Rozana across leading modern trade outlets in June 2026. We

continued to strengthen our brand, expand our distribution, and deepen consumer penetration across
all price points.
Our Rest of the World business recorded strong year-on-year growth in the quarter, with the Pacific
region, Indonesia, and Mainland Asia emerging as the key growth engines. The total business grew
by 50%, outpacing the category growth.
I am pleased to share that LT Foods has not been materially impacted by the recent geopolitical
tensions arising from the Iran conflict. Our diversified sourcing network, agile supply chain
configurations and geographically balanced operations ensured uninterrupted business continuity
throughout the period.
Our Organic Business Arm, Nature Bio Foods Ltd. also continued to make significant progress by
strengthening its European operations through Advanced Machinery and Infrastructure Investments.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to building a stronger, more future-ready LT Foods by further
solidifying our position in the core Basmati & Specialty Rice Segment in India while extending that
momentum into other geographies. We also remain focused on scaling our Organic Food &
Ingredients business and expanding our RTE & RTC portfolio, as we continue to build a more
diversified and future-facing product ecosystem. Sustainability remains central to this journey as we
strengthen ESG practices across our value chain, while digital transformation remains a key priority,
with continued investment in technology to sharpen consumer engagement, supply chain agility and
operational efficiency. As we grow, our commitment to creating shared, sustainable value for everyone
who is part of the LT Foods journey.”
