Subsequently, the company was acquired by Merieux Nutrisciences in 2015. Dr. (Ms.) Deepa Vidyadhar Bhajekar served on the Central Advisory Committee of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the Scientific Panel of FSSAI, contributing significantly to India's food safety ecosystem. She was also instrumental in establishing the India chapter of the Association of Official Analytical Collaboration (AOAC) International, a globally renowned American organization, and served as its Founding President in 2013. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited - McDonald’s West and South India.
