Ltd., announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company began FY27 on a strong note, delivering its strongest business momentum in recent quarters. Revenue for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹7.36 billion, growing 12% year-on-year, supported by robust guest count growth across markets and continued effectiveness of its value-driven strategy. Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) improved to 4.3%, with May and June recording particularly strong performances and mid-single-digit SSSG levels. Demand trends remained healthy across all channels. On-premise sales, comprising dine-in and takeaway, contributed 59% of system sales. Off-premise channels also recorded healthy growth, with McDelivery continuing to outperform and further strengthening its position as a key growth engine for the business. Westlife continued to strengthen its restaurant footprint. As of June 30, 2026, the Company operates 482 restaurants across 79 cities and remains on track to achieve its target of 580- 630 restaurants by December 2027. Disciplined cost management, operating leverage and continued execution excellence helped maintain sustained profitability. Operating EBITDA increased 11% year-on-year to ₹946 million, while Cash PAT stood at ₹517 million, representing 7% of sales. Restaurant Operating Margin stood at 18.6% and Operating EBITDA margin at 12.9%. The Company's continued focus on affordability, relevant menu innovation and operational excellence drove strong customer engagement. The Everyday Value platform at ₹99 remained the primary catalyst for guest count growth, while targeted brand initiatives enhanced consumer relevance and top-of-mind recall across markets. During the quarter, the Company launched its new brand campaign, "Let's Family at McD", commemorating 30 years of McDonald's in India and celebrating the evolving meaning of family through the everyday moments that bring people together. Commenting on the performance, Amit Jatia, Chairperson, Westlife Foodworld Limited, said, "We have started FY27 on a strong note, with improving same-store sales and double-digit revenue growth reflecting the strength of our value platform and disciplined execution. Despite near-term inflationary pressures, we continued to deliver sustained profitability while strengthening customer engagement across channels. Digital adoption continued to deepen, with digital channels contributing approximately 74% of sales. The McDonald's app ecosystem crossed 55 million cumulative downloads, while monthly active users rose above 3.7 million, reinforcing the strength of the Company's omni-channel platform and customer engagement capabilities.
