Commenting on the Results, Mr. Bimal Thakkar – Chairman & Managing Director said,
“We delivered another quarter of strong double-digit growth in Q1 FY27, with consolidated
revenue increasing 25.9% year-on-year to ₹167.3 crore, marking our fourth consecutive quarter
of robust growth. Our performance was driven by deeper shelf-space penetration, continued
category diversification, new product listings, and strong execution across key international
markets. This growth was achieved despite geopolitical uncertainties, including the ongoing West
Asia conflict, trade-route disruptions, vessel shortages, and elevated freight costs. The quarter
was supported by a robust order book, with shipping and container constraints limiting the full
conversion of customer demand into revenue.
Our brands continue to gain traction across markets. Ashoka sustained strong growth supported
by robust diaspora demand and deeper penetration across key international markets, while Truly
Indian continued to witness strong momentum through expanded distribution and increasing
consumer adoption. We also strengthened our operational capabilities during the quarter with
the commencement of commercial deliveries from our Surat greenfield facility and the receipt of
AEO-T3 certification, which enhances export efficiency through faster customs clearances,
streamlined compliance, and improved working capital management.
Profitability remained healthy during the quarter, with EBITDA growing 26.0% year-on-year to
₹29.7 crore and margin maintained at 17.7%, supported by a favourable product mix, frozen
foods momentum, operational efficiencies, and disciplined cost management. As global demand
for authentic, convenient, and value-added Indian food products continues to grow, we remain
focused on strengthening our brands, expanding our distribution footprint, scaling new capacities,
and driving sustainable long-term growth. While geopolitical developments, freight cost volatility,
and vessel availability continue to present uncertainties, we remain cautiously optimistic. Our
diversified operations, strong execution capabilities, and expanding market presence position us
well to capitalize on emerging opportunities.”
