Commenting on the results, Mr. Satish Kumar Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director said:
“We began FY27 on a healthy note, reflecting strong execution across our core business and the resilience of
our branded business model. During the quarter, total Revenue stood at ₹213.3 crore, registering a growth of
9% year-on-year, while profitability improved, with PBT Margin expanding by 250 bps to 17.1%. This was
supported by healthy growth across our product portfolio, as our own manufacturing volumes increased by
6% and franchisee volumes grew 9% year-on-year.
Our brand continues to command strong customer trust, supported by consistent product quality and an
extensive pan-India franchise network. This led to our royalty income increasing by 16% YoY to ₹48.1 crore.
This sustained expansion in franchise volumes reflects increasing acceptance of branded steel products
and further strengthens the scalability of our capital-efficient business model.
While we continue to deepen our presence across existing markets, Southern India remains a key strategic
focus, offering a significant opportunity to expand our branded market share over the coming years.
A key development during the quarter was the commissioning of our 5 MWp captive Solar Power Plant
Phalodi District in Rajasthan in June 2026. The project is expected to generate annual savings of
approximately ₹4–5 crore while improving energy reliability across our operations. More importantly, it
reinforces our commitment towards sustainable manufacturing and aligns with our long-term ESG
objectives.
The Government's continued focus on infrastructure, urbanisation and manufacturing, coupled with
sustained investments in roads, railways and urban transit, is expected to support healthy steel demand,
with finished steel consumption also growing rapidly.
We remain optimistic about the growth of steel industry in FY27 on the back of rising investments
development in the form of commercial, residential, and industrial construction. With a trusted brand, a
scalable franchise network and a capital-efficient business model, Kamdhenu remains well positioned to
capitalize on these opportunities.”
