The Board of Directors of Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited (formerly known as Malco Energy Limited) ("the Company") at its
meeting held today, i.e. July 29, 2026, has inter alia considered and approved the Unaudited Consolidated and Standalone
Financial Results of the Company for the First Quarter ended June 30, 2026.
In this regard, please find enclosed herewith the following:
1. Unaudited Consolidated and Standalone Financial Results of the Company for the First Quarter ended June 30, 2026
("Financial Results");
2. Limited Review Report for Financial Results from the Statutory Auditors of the Company, M/s Walker Chandiok & Co LLP,
Chartered Accountants, in terms of Regulation 33 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015, as amended from time to time ("Listing Regulations").
The report of the Auditors is with unmodified opinion with respect to the Financial Results.
The above shall also be made available on the website of the Company at www.vedantaoilandgas.com
Further, pursuant to SEBI Master Circular HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/l/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026, read with
relevant circulars issued by stock exchanges in this regard, the following disclosures are being made:

to Date Results of the Company pursuant to the Regulation 33 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and
Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (as amended)
To the Board of Directors of Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited (Formerly known as Malco Energy Limited)
L We. ha,fe reviewed the accompanying statement of unaudited consolidated financial results ('the Statement')
of Vedanta Oil :ind Gas Limited ('the Holding Company') and its subsidiaries (the Holding Company and its
subsidiaries together referred ro as 'the Group'), (refer Annexure I for the list of subsidiaries, included in the
Statement) for the quartc.,: ended 30 June 2026 and the consolidated year ro date results for the period 01
April 2026 to 30 June 2026, being submitted by the Holding Company pursuant to the requirements of
Regulation 33 of the SEB.1 (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirement.s) Regulations, 2015 (as
amended) ('Listing Regulations').
2. Th.is Statement, which is the responsibility of the Holding Company's marui.gement and approved b, the
Holding Company's Board of Directors, has been prepared in accordance with the recognition and
measurement principles laid down in Indian AccoU11ting Standard 34, Interim Financial Reporting ('Ind 1\S
34'), prescribed under section 133 of the Companies Act, 2013 ('the Act'), and other accounting principles
generally accepted in India and is in compliance with the presentation and disclosure requirements of
Regulation 33 of the Listing Regulations. Our responsibility is to express a conclu ion on the Statement based
on our review.
3. We conducted our review of the Statement in accordance with the Standard on Review ogagernenrs (SRE)
2410, Review of Interim Financial Information Pt'.rformed by the Independent Auditor of the Entity, issued
by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of [n<lia. A review of inte.rim financial information consists of
making inquiries, primarily of persons responsible for financial and accounting matters, and applying
analytical and other review procedures. A review is substantially less in scope than ao audit conducted in
accordance with the Standacds on Auditing specified under secdon 143(l0} of the Act, ano consequently,
does not enable us to obtain assurance that we would become aware of all significant matters that might be
identified in an audit. 1\ccordingly, we do not express an audit opinion. \Ve also performed procedures in
accordance with the circular issued by the SEBI unde.r Regulation 33 (8} of the Listing Regulations, to the
extent applicable.
4. Based on our review conducted and pmcedures performed as stated in paragraph 3 above, nothing has come
to our attention that causes us to bclie,,e that the accompanying Statement, prepared io accordmce with the
recognition and measurement principles laid down in Ind AS 34, prescribed under section 133 of the Act,
and other accounting principles generally accepted in India, has not disclosed th.e information required to be
disclosed in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 33 of the Listing Regulations, including the
manner in which it is to be disclosed, or that it contains any material misstatement.

5. \Ve draw attention to Note 8 to the accompanying Statement, which describes the uncertainty relating to the
ongoing litigation in relation to extension oft he Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for Cam bay Block (CB
OS/2) with l:vlinistrr of Petroleum & Natural Gas ('MoPNG') wherebr the Holding Company's petition
against the rejection letter earlier issued br ~loPNG has been dismissr..d by the Hoo'blc Delhi High Court
vide order dated 22 July 2026. The Holding Company has filed an appeal before the Divisional bench of
Hon'ble High Court against the said order which is currently sub-juclice. Consequently, the management of
the Holding Company has recognised a provision for impairment of ~379 crore in the current quarter against
the carrying value of non-financial assets and ce.rtain balances pertaining to Cambay Block and basis legal
assessment, the management is of the view that no further adjustments ate necessary in the accompanying
consolidated financial results f
