Tata Power Company Ltd has announced that the Ministry of Power has extended the validity of directions issued under Section 11 of the Electricity Act, 2003, for its Mundra Thermal Plant. Previously set to expire on June 30, 2026, these directions will now remain in force until September 30, 2026. This extension ensures the continued operation of the Mundra plant under specific governmental directives, providing operational continuity and mitigating near-term uncertainty regarding its future.
