FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Beyond Student Loans
How Kreon is Building India's Student Financial Technology Platform
From Campus to Career. One Platform. Endless Possibilities.
Chennai | July 28, 2026
India is home to one of the world's largest student populations. Yet, while education has
rapidly embraced digital transformation, student finance remains fragmented, complex
and underserved.
Kreon Finnancial Services Limited believes that this gap presents one of the most
significant opportunities in Indian fintech.
Kreon has transformed itself from a conventional financial services company into a
technology-driven fintech enterprise focused on building the digital financial
infrastructure that will empower the next generation of students.
At the heart of this transformation is StuCred—Kreon's flagship technology platform—
which is evolving beyond digital lending into a comprehensive financial ecosystem
designed to support students throughout their journey from campus to career.

Building Technology. Not Just Lending.
Kreon believes that the future of financial services will belong to technology platforms
rather than standalone lending institutions.
Accordingly, the Company is strategically investing in proprietary technology, artificial
intelligence, advanced analytics and digital infrastructure to create a seamless financial
experience for students.
The number of credit transactions processed by the Company increased from 7.75 lakh in
Q4 FY 2025–26 to 9.57 lakh in Q1 FY 2026–27, representing sequential growth of
approximately 23.5%.
This increase reflects sustained customer engagement and continued adoption of the
Company’s digital lending platform.
While Kreon operates within the regulatory framework applicable to an NBFC, its vision
extends far beyond conventional lending. Technology is the Company's primary
differentiator, with finance serving as the application layer through which that technology
creates value.
StuCred has therefore been conceived not merely as a lending platform, but as a digital
financial ecosystem designed to accompany students throughout every stage of their
educational and professional journey.
