NTPC Ltd announced that Unit#2 (800 MW) of Patratu STPP Phase-1, developed by its subsidiary Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), has been declared commercially operational effective June 25, 2026. This significant capacity addition raises the NTPC group's total installed capacity to 90,857 MW and commercial capacity to 89,777 MW, bolstering its power generation capabilities and future revenue streams.
