Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform that the Company has received a demand notice issued
by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) for alleged overcharging under the
Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 (DPCO, 2013). The Company is currently reviewing the
demand notice and will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
In this regard, please find the details as required under the SEBI Circular HO/49/14/14(7)2025-
CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026 attached herewith as Annexure – A.

violation(s)/contravention(s) India Ltd. sold/marketed Betaloc-50
committed or alleged to be (Metoprolol 50 mg tablets) at an MRP higher
committed than the ceiling price notified under DPCO,
2013, and has not implemented the revised
ceiling price on stocks available in the market
from the notifications i.e. Notification S.O.
644(E) dated 02.03.2016 and Notification S.O.
1352(E) dated 02.06.2016 in respect of
Betaloc-50 tablets.
This has allegedly resulted in overcharging
during the period of June to July 2016, for
which NPPA has demanded recovery of the
overcharged amount along with applicable
interest to be paid within 30 days from the date
of receipt of the Notice.
