(as per RoR) /1276.949 Hect. (as per DGPS) with restriction of mining in an area of 965.423 ha production capacity 1.8 MTPA Iron Ore and 0.3 MTPA Manganese Ore. The said communication further stated that there is no displacement of families or loss of livelihood attributable to the project and that the submitted document is only a study report and does not contain any Rehabilitation and Resettlement Plan. xxxi. Lease status for the ML area is with validity period of 15/08/2026. Proponent is yet to obtain extension of the same concerned competent authority. EAC opined that proposal shall be processed for approval only after the validity extension beyond 15/08/2026. In case of no extension, proponent shall start the entire EC process de-novo as committed. xxxii. Committee also deliberated on the proposed plan and budgetary provisions for Damage Remediation Plan, Natural Resource Augmentation Plan and Community Resource Augmentation Plan. Committee opined that the same shall be implemented within 3 years from the date of grant of EC and bank guarantee in this regard shall be submitted to the SPCB. 9.7.4: Recommendation of EAC Based on aforesaid discussions and presentation made by the Project Proponent and the Consultant, the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC), in its 9th EAC meeting held on 17th July, 2026, under the provisions of the EIA Notification, 2006 and its subsequent amendments, recommended the proposal for grant of Environment Clearance (EC) to Belkundi Iron & Manganese Ore Mine over an area of 1276.79 Hect.
