Ref: Disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
1. Introduction
Deccan Gold Mines Limited ("Deccan Gold"), in furtherance of its strategy to build a
diversified critical minerals business encompassing exploration, mining, processing,
downstream value-addition and technology-led investments, has entered into two strategic
collaboration arrangements that are expected to strengthen the Company's capabilities in
mineral beneficiation, metallurgical process development, battery materials, and
domestic and international mining opportunities.
2. Memorandum of Understanding with CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-
CECRI)
Deccan Gold has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR-Central Electrochemical
Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi, a premier constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific
and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India. The MoU establishes a framework for
collaboration in scientific research and technology development relating to the extraction of nickel
from Nickel-PGE bearing ores and the development of Nickel-Carbon (Ni-C) battery materials and
technologies.
The proposed areas of cooperation include:
• Scientific studies on extraction, recovery and characterization of nickel from Ni-PGE ores of
the Bhanwarpur Complex (Bhalukona), along with evaluation, characterization and
metallurgical test work on lithium concentrates produced from Deccan Gold's Mozambique
operations, with a view to developing suitable beneficiation, extraction and value-addition
technologies.
• Development of beneficiation, hydrometallurgical and electrochemical processes for nickel
extraction and purification.
• Research and development of Nickel-Carbon battery materials and laboratory-scale cells.
• Joint development of project-specific research programmes, technology validation and
commercialization opportunities.
The MoU is non-binding in nature and provides the framework for executing project-specific
agreements as and when mutually identified opportunities arise. The arrangement is valid for an initial
period of two years.

engineering, corrosion science, electrochemical energy storage systems, battery technologies, surface
engineering, and advanced materials characterization. The Institute has played a significant role in
developing indigenous technologies and transferring advanced research solutions to industry and
society, notably through the development and commercialization of India's first indigenous Lithium-
Ion (Li-ion) battery fabrication technology, in addition to its pioneering work in advanced battery
materials and energy storage systems.
4. Strategic Alliance Agreement with XTerra Global Resources Private Limited
Deccan Gold has also entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement with XTerra Global Resources Private
Limited ("XTerra"), establishing a non-exclusive framework for cooperation in critical minerals, mineral
processing, battery materials and downstream value-addition opportunities in India and overseas. The
Parties will explore opportunities for technology development, project evaluation, value-added
processing and strategic investments in the critical minerals sector. The Strategic Alliance Agreement
serves as an umbrella arrangement under which project-specific definitive agreements may be
executed as and when mutually agreed opportunities are identified. The agreement is valid for an
initial period of two years and is non-exclusive in nature.
These strategic collaborations are expected to strengthen Deccan Gold's technical, research and
project development capabilities and enhance its participation in the rapidly evolving critical minerals
