With more than two decades of rich, hands-on experience in the Solid Waste Management (‘SWM’) sector, he has been instrumental in building AWHCL into one of India's leading and most trusted Municipal Solid Waste management enterprises, with an operational footprint spanning collection & transportation, mechanised sweeping, waste processing and Waste-to-Energy initiatives across multiple states. Mr. Shiju holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, University of Mumbai. Over the course of his career with the Company, he has held progressively significant leadership roles, having earlier served as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the Company's accounting, finance, treasury and legal functions, before transitioning to his current mandate as Executive Director & Chief Risk Officer.
