PRESS RELEASE
RESULTS FOR THE QUARTER AND HALF YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
Jyothy Labs maintains growth momentum in Q2 FY27 despite input cost headwinds, prioritizes
progressive margin recovery
Mumbai, November 4, 2026: Jyothy Labs Limited, one of India's leading fast-moving consumer goods
(FMCG) companies, today announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended
September 30, 2026.
The Company's underlying business continued to demonstrate healthy growth, supported by strong performance
in Fabric Care, sustained momentum in the Exo franchise, new product launches and improving contributions
from emerging trade channels. Excluding the Pril and Fa businesses, revenue grew by 12.4% in value and 8.1 %
in volume during the quarter, reflecting the strength of its core portfolio.
The broader FMCG operating environment remained challenging, with uneven demand recovery and
unprecedented inflation in crude derivatives, palm oil, chemicals and packaging materials. While rural
consumption continued to outperform urban markets, signs of gradual urban recovery were encouraging.
However, rising input costs and continued pressure on consumer affordability weighed on industry profitability.
Despite healthy underlying growth, the Company's profitability was significantly impacted by elevated
commodity costs and the consumption of higher cost inventories. Management remains focused on
progressively restoring margins through calibrated pricing, procurement efficiencies, value engineering,
improved product mix and cost discipline, while protecting consumer demand and brand competitiveness. The
Company continues to strengthen its core brands, accelerate new product launches and expand distribution
across traditional and emerging channels.
FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS-Q2 FY27 (YoY)
• Revenue from Operations at <760 crore, representing 3.3% reported value growth.
• Excluding Pril and Fa, revenue growth of 12.4% in value and 8.1 % in volume.
• Operating EBITDA at <19.2 crore, with an EBITDA margin of2.5%, reflecting significant input cost
inflation.
• Profit After Tax at <10.6 crore.
FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS - Hl FY27 (Yo Y)
• Revenue from Operations at <1,533 crore, representing 3.1% reported value growth.
• Excluding Pril and Fa, revenue growth of 10.2% in value and 6.2% in volume.
• Operating EBITDA at <83.9 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 5.5%.
• Profit After Tax at <58.2 crore.
SEGMENT PERFORMANCE:
FABRIC CARE - Fabric Whitener, Fabric Enhancer, Fabric Conditioner, Bar Soap, Detergent Powder,
Liquid Detergent and Laundry Service

during the quarter. Growth was broad-based across the portfolio, led by continued momentum in liquid

detergents and supported by healthy performance in detergent powders and bars. Liquid detergents continued to
lead category growth, supported by sustained consumer adoption and strong performance across Henko, Ujala,
Morelight and Mr. White. Detergent powders and bars maintained healthy momentum, while Ujala Young and
Fresh fabric conditioner continued to gain traction. The Company remains focused on strengthening its position
in core laundry formats through innovation, distribution expansion and sustained brand investments.
HOME CARE - Dish Wash Bar, Liquid, Gel, Powder and Scrubbers, Mosquito Repellent Coil, Liquid
Vaporiser, Racquet, Aerosol, Agarbatti, Incense Sticks
The Home Care segment delivered healthy underlying growth of 15.3% in value and 13.1% in volume,
excluding Pril sales. The Exo franchise continued to demonstrate strong momentum, supported by expanding
distribution. The recently launched bio enzyme-based Exo Dishwash Liquid, endorsed by Yami Gautam and
Keerthy Suresh, has received an encouraging consumer response across markets and channels. The Company
remains focused on further scaling the Exo portfolio to strengthen its presence in the Dishwash category.
In Household Insecticides, the Company expanded its Maxo portfolio with the introduction ofMaxo Agarbatti,
featuring a government approved mosquito control formulation. The launch addresses consumer demand for
regulated mosquito repellent solutions and strengthens the Company's presence across key product formats. The
strategic focus remains on scaling newer formats, improving product mix and progressively restoring
profitability in Household Insecticides.
PERSONAL CARE-Body Soap, Hand Wash and Toothpaste.
Personal Care recorded 11.2% value growth during the quarter, while volumes declined marginally reflecting
the impact of pricing actions and a favourable comparative base following last year's GST transition. The Margo
franchise continued to benefit from focused brand investments and improved market visibility. The Company
introduced Margo Gentle, a glycerine bathing soap, in Argan Oil and Moringa Oil variants in select markets,
expanding the brand's presence in differentiated personal cleansing formats.
Commenting on the financial performance of Q2 FY27, Ms. M. R. Jyothy, Chairperson and Managing
Director, Jyothy Labs Limited said:
"Q2 demonstrated the strength of our underlying business, delivering 12.4% value growth and 8.1% volume
growth, excluding Pril and Fa, supported by healthy momentum in Fabric Care, Exo and new product launches.
However, unprecedented inflation in raw material and packaging costs significantly impacted profitability,
despite our pricing and cost efficiency measures. While near term margin pressures may persist, we remain
confident of sustaining double digit underlying value growth in the coming quarters. Our priorities are to
accelerate new launches, strengthen core brands and progressively restore margins through calibrated pricing,
operational efficiencies and disciplined cost management. Our strong balance sheet provides us the financial
flexibility to pursue both organic and selective inorganic growth opportunities, while maintaining discipline in
capital allocation and a clear focus on long term shareholder value creation. "
