Q2FY26 Key Financial Highlights • Strong revenue growth of 36.9% YoY and 12.1% QoQ. o Higher automotive segment volumes on the back of robust passenger vehicle demand. o Improved Float Glass realizations due to better product mix, F2 operating at full capacity compared to the cold-repair period in the previous year, and improved operational efficiencies. • COGS including energy costs remained elevated amid the prevailing macroeconomic environment. However, energy cost impact was partially mitigated by renewable energy procurement and increased operational efficiencies. • EBITDA Margins expanded to 22.1% as against 17.1% in Q2FY26. However, sequentially the margins were impacted for Automotive business mainly due to inflationary pressure on Logistics, manpower, & consumables, as well as natural ramp up of new capacities in Patan and Chennai plants and stabilization of 12 new car model launches during the quarter. • PAT margins remained steady at 10.5%. < A1S> .........,,,,, Asahi India Glass Ltd. Key Operational Highlights • Stabilized 12 new models (Automotive) in Q2FY27. • Ramp up of new Phase 3 tempered expansion in Patan as well as Laminated expansion in Chennai. Management Commentary Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sanjay Labroo, Chairman & Managing Director, Asahi India Glass Limited said, “I am pleased to share that Q2 FY27 has been our best-ever quarter of financial performance. On a YoY basis, our net sales grew 36.9% to ₹1,591 crores, and EBITDA grew 76.4% to ₹351 crores. EBITDA and PAT margins for Q2 stood at 22.1% and 10.5%, respectively. For H1 FY27, our net sales stood at approximately ₹3,010 crores, and EBITDA was 682 crores, representing YoY growth of 25.3% and 69.5% respectively. I firmly believe that our financial performance remained healthy due to our sustained strategy of value addition and integration. Amidst global uncertainties and macro-economic volatility, we continued to face significant inflationary pressures on input and energy costs in both our businesses. While several of these reasons remain beyond our control, I believe we can improve our financial performance in the automotive business as there is some scope to further enhance operational efficiency. I am happy to share that this quarter we commissioned our Phase III tempered operations at Patan and expanded our laminated capacities at Chennai plant. Besides the above, we supported our OEM customers with their 12 new model launches this quarter. Our Automotive glass business continues to benefit from sustained demand backed by growth and premiumization of automotive industry in India. Our Architectural glass business is supported by rising urbanization, infrastructure development, increasing emphasis on green buildings, and higher adoption of value-added glass products. I thank the Government of India for continuing to recognize the unfair trade environment faced by Indian glass industry from dumped imports and supporting the industry with a fair Minimum Import Price (MIP). Our Consumer Glass Solutions business continues to expand by offering customized glass, windows and door solutions, along with organized automotive glass repair and replacement services. AIS shall continue to invest significant resources in expanding its state-of-the-art manufacturing capacities, introducing new technology products and processes, strengthening vertical integration, enhancing customer proximity, and building indigenous capabilities across all our businesses. These investments are beginning to contribute meaningfully to our growth and competitive positioning. We continue to re-invest in the future growth of AIS. With continued focus on improving asset utilization, driving cost optimization and enhancing productivity, AIS is well positioned to capitalize on the structural growth opportunities across all the business segments.” About Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) was incorporated in 1984.
