Nagraj Bhat holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Shri Govind Ram Sekesaria Institute of Technology, Indore and MBA in Finance & Marketing from Nagpur University. Has joined POWERGRID in 1993 as First batch EET and has more than 30 years of experience in the power transmission sector. He has contributed extensively across diverse domains including Commercial, Operation & Maintenance of Substations, Project Implementation & Project Monitoring, Corporate Planning, Contracts & Materials, CTUIL and CSR. Among performing other successful key roles in organisation during his tenure since 1993, he has successfully accomplished arranging Multilateral Financing for POWERGRID from ADB, World Bank, KfW etc., strategic planning with Five year and Annual plan of the POWERGRID and has successful commissioning of various Power Transmission Projects. In his recent assignment, he was involved in developing trained manpower resources at SDC Malda for Power Transmission Sector under CSR Initiative of POWERGRID to meet the ambitious target of GoI for developing Power Transmission Infrastructure in next 5 years.
