Investor Release Commenting on the Company's performance, Mr. Ashish Kanakia, CEO of Cineline India Limited, said, “Cineline India delivered a strong performance in Q2 FY27, with revenue (Pre-Ind AS) growing 12% YoY to INR 7,170 lakh. This was driven by a healthy slate of English, Hindi and regional releases, especially ‘Spiderman Brand New Day’, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ and ‘Mirzapur (The Movie)’. EBITDA grew 11% YoY to INR 1,160 lakh, with margins at 16.2%. Footfalls and occupancy remained healthy through the quarter, with admissions of 20.1 lakh. This translated into 12% YoY growth in Net Box Office Collections of Rs. 4,478 lakhs and 16% YoY growth in Net F&B Collections at Rs. 2,094 lakh, reflecting our sharp execution and the quality strength of our screens. We are pleased to announce the launch of MovieMax Multiplex at Metro World Mall, Gurugram, marking our second property in Gurugram and fifth cinema in the Delhi NCR region, further strengthening our presence in this key entertainment market. With high-quality entertainment experience such as advanced projection technology, premium formats and strategic location, our properties are well positioned to cater to the growing demand and resonate well with surrounding audience. In line with our existing screens, we are increasingly focusing on further entering high potential and underpenetrated regions to offer differentiated and contemporary experience. As we enter the second half of the year, we remain encouraged by the industry’s positive trajectory, supported by strong content momentum across all Bollywood, Hollywood and regional cinema. We believe this sets the stage for continued growth in footfalls and collections. Occupancy should remain healthy, backed by an exciting line-up of audience-engaging releases, including key releases such as ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, which are expected to draw large audiences. As part of our total planned addition of 25 screens during full year FY27, 16 screens across 4 cinemas are slated to become operational given the time for licensing arrangement and approvals. We see significant headroom for growth in smaller towns and underserved locations, and our expansion strategy is focused on deepening penetration in these markets. The southern region is especially attractive, given its strong regional content consumption, supportive regulatory environment and high levels of audience engagement. Alongside this, our continued investments in premium formats and curated food & beverage offerings will deepen audience engagement and drive repeat visits. We remain confident of sustaining this momentum and delivering long-term value for all our stakeholders.” Investor Release ABOUT CINELINE INDIA LIMITED MovieMax Cinemas, a part of the Kanakia Group, is a rapidly expanding chain of cinemas operated by Cineline India Limited which has made a comeback in 2022.
