A Tribute to Mr. Sukumar Srinivas Mr. Sukumar Srinivas founded Shankara Buildpro and built it from the ground up into India’s leading building materials & home improvement marketplace, and India’s largest organised and professionally managed steel tube & pipe distribution and retail business. He brought scale, organisation and professional management to a largely unorganised segment, and built an institution anchored in integrity, customer trust and operating discipline. He was a mentor to many professionals who have grown with the Company, and the culture and values he established remain the foundation on which Buildpro operates today. Leadership Continuity the Way Forward The Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) of the Board met on November 1, 2026 and nominated Mr. Dhananjay Mirlay Srinivas, Executive Director, for the role of Managing Director of the Company. Subsequently, the Board of Directors met on the same day, approved the recommendation of the NRC and appointed Mr. Dhananjay Mirlay Srinivas as Managing Director of the Company. The appointment is subject to approval by the shareholders through postal ballot. Mr. Dhananjay Mirlay Srinivas joined Shankara Building Products Limited in a senior managerial role on 1st January 2020 and has been on the Board of Shankara Buildpro Limited since inception i.e. 13th October 2023. He has been groomed for this role by Mr. Sukumar Srinivas for more than six years. He has been independently driving the Company’s Non-Steel marketplace business, and has been playing a key role in the Steel marketplace business under the guidance of Mr. C. Ravikumar, Executive Director. He will be ably supported by an experienced management team, including Mr. C. Ravikumar, Executive Director; Mr. Alex Varghese, Chief Financial Officer; and other Senior Management Personnel, each of whom has several years of experience with the Company.
