SUBJECT: Update on License: - Action by the Excise Department, Madhya Pradesh -
Disclosure / Intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015
We would like to inform Stock Exchanges that our application for grant of the Excise License
for our Bhopal plant for FY 2026-27 has been rejected by the Excise Department.
The Company had submitted detailed replies and supporting submissions in response to the
show cause notice issued by the Excise Department. However, the Company believes that
the explanations and materials placed and the court order on record do not appear to have
been adequately considered.
The Company is presently pursuing various legal remedies and is taking all necessary steps
with a view to restoring the manufacturing license at the earliest.
The management is actively engaging with all stakeholders and evaluating appropriate
measures to mitigate the impact of the order on business operations.
The Company sincerely appreciates the continued support and understanding of its
stakeholders during this challenging period and shall keep the Stock Exchanges informed of
any material developments in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
