Pursuant to Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations, this is to inform that Board of the Directors of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (“the Corporation”) in its meeting held today, i.e. June 24, 2026, has inter-alia considered and approved the appointment of Shri Jayasimhan Madabhushi Matam Tirumala, Executive Director (Board &Secretarial/Regulatory Compliance) as Chief Compliance Officer, Key Managerial Personnel on the recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee subject to the approval of Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India (“IRDAI”). Consequently, he has now been re-designated as Executive Director (Board & Secretarial/Regulatory Compliance) & Chief Compliance Officer of the Corporation w.e.f., June 24, 2026. The details as required under Regulation 30 of the Listing Regulations read with circulars issued thereunder, from time to time, is enclosed as Annexure – 1. The Board meeting commenced at 11.45 a.m. (IST) on June 24, 2026 and concluded at 2:50 p.m. (IST). Please take the above information on record and arrange for dissemination. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from S.V. University, Tirupati. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management and is a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India. On his elevation as Senior Divisional Manager, he headed two Divisions, Machilipatnam and Shimoga under South Central Zone. Prior to that he worked as Secretary (Marketing) and Secretary (Pension & Group Schemes) in South Central Zone and in various Branch Offices of the Corporation as Branch Manager and Senior Branch Manager and in various administrative roles. He has also worked as Regional Manager (Marketing – Chief Life Insurance Advisor) heading the channel for the State of Karnataka and upon elevation, he has worked as Chief (In-charge), Board & Secretarial Department, Central Office, Mumbai.
